More Cards

'Hat's off to you' was made for my brothers birthday. I used All mixed up and plantin schoolbook for the 'Hats off to you phrase" and welded it together with the gypsy. The argyle background is from Wild Card, and the cowboy hat is from everyday paper dolls.
'You make me melt', and 'Love you a latte' are both just from Just Because Cards. I have been making a lot of cards lately. I really like cards. I'm not much of a scrapbooker so I don't really know how to do layouts, nor do I have the patience for it.

Bee Happy Card

This is made from Just Because Cards (my very fav cartridge so far!)

Word Book-Mothers Day

This was a Mothers Day gift for my Mother this year. It was designed on the Gypsy and cut out using chipboard and the deep cut blade for cricut.

Mothers Day Word Book

This was a gift for my mother in law for mother's day. It was designed using the Gypsy. The front and back covers are chipboard covered with cardstock, the other pages are just cardstock. A little tip, when cutting chipboard it's best to use a clean, new sticky mat. I learned this lesson the hard way. The chipboard kept shifting around on the mat and didn't cut right.

A Little Bird Told Me Card

I made this for my brother and sister in law, who just found out they are expecting!! Yay for them! This is also made with Just Because Cards cartridge. I SO love this cart!

Just Peachy Card

Another Mothers Day card I made usinf Just Because Cards cricut cartridge.

You Take The Cake Card

A card I made for Mothers Day. Call mark on the back was just a silly thing I added to be funny. It was created using the gypsy. You take the cake card was made using Just Because Cards cricut cartridge.

Lady Bug Cake

This was for my 2 year olds birthday this year. My awesome sister in law, Marqae and I made this. It was the first for us both. So fun!
The cupcakes were decorated as lady bugs as well. A very easy addition, but adds so much.

Bakugan Cake

A Bakugan birthday cake I made. This is my first attempt at making a fondant cake by myself. I have to say, I really enjoy making these cakes! It really relaxes me. I'm not great at it yet by all means, but I am proud of my work! And I LOve, love love that I can do it myself and not buy it from the store.

Bakugan Birthday

My son turned 9 this year and wanted a Bakugan birthday party, so I just HAD to ablige! I didn't really like the decorations I saw at the store. Plus, chilling memories of last years party decorations for his "army" party came back to haunt me as I thought of how much this was gonna cost. So I decided I would 'make my own'! It was a little time consuming, but really not too bad at all! And the best part-I was able to use things I already had at home, besides a few sheets of blue, black, red, and yellow paper to cut the decorations from. So, total cost-about 3-5 bucks!
The invitaions are cut with the expression and I used Wild Card for the card, envelope, and words. (this is what took the longest) "Happy Birthday Braydon is from All Mixed Up. I just strung yarn through the holes on the tags and the letters hung from the yarn.

The gift bags are from Plantin Schoolbook. And I bought some Bakugan stickers. I think those only cost about 2-3 dollars.
Braydon loved his party and was so excited about it, and I felt good because I made it all and the grand total for his birthday (including the Bakugan cake supplies) was about $30. I would definitly do this again!

ChOrE ChArT

A chore chart I made. This is my first try at one, I might do it a little different the next time around, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The little squares are removeable so I can change them around on different days, ect. but I think as my daughter gets older I will change out the colors of the squares that you stick on to make blue for my son and maybe pink for my daughter.

Simple Birthday Goodies

This is just a cute way to display cupcakes. I didn't coin this idea, but it really made it look more fun and festive. Just simply tie a pretty ribbon around a nicely arranged plate of goodies. Here is a simple card and envelope I made for the same birthday party. I used the cricut expression and the Wild Card cartridge.
